WORLDS IN VIEW ProfiFoto Pop-up Gallery — Galerie Les Murs Blancs, 12 rue Georges Blanc, Arles 6–12 July 2026, daily from 10:30 am · Opening: Monday 6 July, 6 pm With "WORLDS IN VIEW," the German photography magazine ProfiFoto stages its pop-up gallery within the Arles OFF program, taking its title from the official Rencontres d'Arles 2026 festival theme ("Des mondes à relire"). Curated by ProfiFoto editor-in-chief Thomas Gerwers from a worldwide open call, the exhibition unites some 45 photographers from Europe, Asia, Australia, North and South America and the Middle East — among them Philipp Rathmer — with camera-based works spanning documentary, conceptual, staged and experimental approaches to identity, memory, the body, the city and social transformation. All 61 works are produced by WhiteWall as museum-grade fine-art prints on Hahnemühle paper. An APHEUM e-ink panel with a curated sequence of 40 works by Gerwers extends the show into a quiet, paper-like digital dimension, and an accompanying photobook carries the exhibition beyond the festival week. During opening week the gallery doubles as a meeting point for the international photo community.
